Compressive Strength
Compressive Strength
The Uretek polymer is primarily used to consolidate ground and to re-level settled structures.
An impressive property of our resins is the compressive strength. Diagram 6.1a relates the density of the material to its compressive strength. Although we utilise a range of resins tailored to specific ground conditions, the density of the Uretek material, which is around 70 kg/m³ when injected beneath flooring, can reach over 300 kg/m³ when utilised for the Deep Injection process.
The density of the material increases in proportion to the applied weight. Under heavy load the Geoplus® polymer achieves a compressive strenght of up to 10,000 kPa.
